VAT rate

Printed matter is in principle subject to the standard VAT rate of 21%. However, under certain conditions, a political party and its members can benefit from a reduced VAT rate of 6%.

This includes election posters, flyers, brochures, pamphlets, etc. for which the 6% VAT rate applies. This concerns printed matter intended to be brought to the attention of the public, not intended for commercial advertising.

The client who places the order is responsible for choosing the correct VAT rate and can be held liable if a percentage is chosen that is too low.
